Yura stops dropping the tether and asks: What are you? Why don't you bleed? Kagome: Now that she mentions it...this happened with the fire, too. Is it this cloak? Inuyasha memory: It's made of the Fire Rat's fur. That'll be stronger than any armour. Inuyasha... Yura: Your body looks like a normal human's...she gets an idea.But what about this? Kagome struggles. Inuyasha: Hijingtsusou!   Several blades severe the strands... and slacken those around Kagome's neck: I-Inuyasha... Our hair tower crumbles. (Yeck!) Inuyasha: Don't pass out! Keep your eyes closed! He leaps, picks her up, and the two glide down, landing amid the falling hair nest. Something's sounding forward... Kagome: Inuyasha, look out! He turns, sees it coming forward, and pushes away Kagome... ...before taking the full blow.   On rebound, Yura pulls back the sword. Inuyasha: Sill alive... Yura: Hah! I'm immortal. She moves to javelin the sword, ...but stops it ...in front of Inuyasha. Kagome's hacking away at a skull with an arrow. A certain...red skull. Each forceful hit lights up the hair: It's this! Each hair from the red skull links to Yura's hands! Yura: That girl! I'll kill you! Kagome turns round, -sees Yura's sword speeding fast- and strikes once more. The sword stops, and after a brief flash of light, the comb inside snaps in two. Yura floats up and disinergrates away, her attire and sword falling down. After a few deep breaths, Kagome picks up the half-comb. Inuyasha: That is Yura's true self. Kagome: A red comb... Inuyasha: Ah. It's a comb used to comb dead people's hair. Probably tired of combing and so became a youkai. In this age, it's not so weird for a comb to do that. Kagome: Inuyasha! You're badly hurt! Is it because you lent me your cloak? Inuyasha: It's nothing. By the way, where's the shard? Kagome: It's here. How long do you think it'll take to collect them all? Inuyasha: Let's go, Kagome. Inuyasha: What?
